Building your profile, collecting host-family references, your identity check, seeing families visiting your city, and replying to any family who writes to you are all free. There is no commission on what you earn, and we never take a cut of what a family pays you — you are paid directly by the family.

Trip Pass
$49 USD
per 30 days
Unlimited messaging for 30 days. Renews automatically every 30 days at $49 USD until you cancel.
Annual
Best for frequent travelers$149 USD
per year
Unlimited messaging for 365 days — better value from about three trips a year. Renews automatically every 365 days at $149 USD until you cancel.
Prices are in US dollars and exclude any sales tax or VAT, which is added at checkout where it applies.
Both passes renew automatically
Your pass renews at the end of each term — every 30 days for a Trip Pass, every 365 days for Annual — and the card you paid with is charged the same amount again, until you cancel. We email you before each renewal.
To cancel: write to hello@aupairaway.com and we stop the next charge — no reason needed, no retention call. A one-click cancel control lands in your account's Access tab when payments open. Your pass stays active until the end of the term you have already paid for, and you keep messaging until then.
If nobody replies, you get your money back
A pass buys you the chance to start conversations, not a guaranteed booking. So if no caregiver has replied to you seven days after you buy, ask us and we refund that term in full. You can request it from the Access tab once those seven days have passed. If a caregiver has replied, the guarantee has done its job and the term is not refundable.
What the fee is and isn't
The pass pays for access to Au Pair Away — the verified profiles, the references, and the ability to message. It is not payment for childcare. You agree hours, rates and responsibilities directly with the caregiver and pay her directly; we are not an employer, an agency, or a payment intermediary, and we take no commission on that arrangement.
